Associations and Centres enjoying Tenpin Bowling Australia’s affiliation* may be eligible to deliver Bowl Patrol programs at their centre. The delivery of Bowl Patrol programs remain consistent across the country through guided procedures and resources.
- Programs are delivered by registered, qualified coaches called ‘Lane Rangers’. Paid positions ensure quality delivery coincide with course content and supporting materials including; eight x 1 hour Session Plans, Activity Cards, equipment, online videos, uniform, state and national coordinator networks, etc.
- Specially designed, modified equipment is required for the unique delivery of this program, in many cases grants and fundraising can assist the centre or association in owning this equipment. Where this hasn’t been possible, we’re delighted to offer a ‘loan to buy’ initiative where regular payments make the purchase more achievable.
- Administration for the program is managed online via GameDay’s Passport platform. This means centres aren’t too involved in the registration process, but can access the details required to run the program, when they need to. Bowl Patrol pay the centre a set amount per participant (linage), we also pay the Lane Ranger – directly if preferred.
- National promotion is managed by us but it’s vital the centre do everything possible in their venues and broader community to recruit participants for the program. Ask for a promo checklist, see items above.
- Bowl Patrol puts tenpin bowling in line with other national junior participation programs like AusKick, Net Set Go and others. We accept all state government issued sport vouchers. Plus the program is covered by Sporting Schools, Club Connect and other funded entities.
We look forward to continuing to create the next generation of strong bowlers in the future and helping you grow the sport with new juniors!
WORRIED ABOUT COSTS?
We encourage centres to promote the use of sport vouchers (all states/territories except ACT) up to $200 to cover the cost of registration.
Visit ‘Contact Us’ for more voucher links and promotional materials.
